stolen photos

...what about stealing a photo to your friends when they don't expect it?
Oh..I love it!!
I think that kind of photo reveals a lot about soul....it's easy to see: eyes looking at the horizon...movements and attitudes so natural and expressive....
So...I stole two photos to Maria and Giacomo with my cell phone when we were at the Verona Design Fair, and then worked with a little photoshop on what their attitude suggested me...
Here's the result...a vintage, dreaming Giacomino and a Maria "flick-flock fairy"....

FRESH....ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY

oh..good morning everybody!!!
This week's IF topic is FRESH.... and so what about fresh little rain drops falling on you?
This week I've been sick...had fever, had throatache and my eyes were always teary-looking, but my mind was awake....this morning I woke up, and outside it was raining exactly like in my draw, which I did in the night... that's the magic of life!!!
So I took my car and came to work...in a rainy-foggy day listening to Rolling Stones "streets of love " in repeat...oh what a good day!!!
I think that breathing life's poetry heals the soul.....

Little consideration about life

first af all let me say that this marvellous pic is not mine, I found it in the net...

Oh, it's funny how a simple small small small thing has the power to change your mood and your whole day...make you go to sleep with a smile painted on your face....then you wake up with that same smile....even if you're sick...but who cares????!!! Oh, well I don't care!!! Got that smile inside...What can make you feel sweeter than someone who gives you the goodnight?Life's all about small things...dont'you think?

ESCAPE....illustration friday

Oh, well I'm back with this illo...
I think that escaping has something to do with dreaming... by dreaming tou can escape from your day-by day reality, being whatever you like...
Most of the times it's not easy to live life exacly as you'd like...but you can always fall asleep and runaway in your dreams...

And I'm not the only one!!! This "cute and cuddly" attitude is contagious!!!
Well, I'll be back soon with some illo, I've been so busy recently...went to a design fair with friends (Ehi there jessica!! A special thanx goes to tou together with a big hug!!You're so cute!...and cuddly giiirl...), and worked on a little puppet with my own two hands (i'm so proud of it!!) to give as a present to a friend.
Oh, well, I'm working on Illustration friday's topic of the week...hope it will be ready tomorrow.
I'm forced to work on illos at home 'cause my boss noticed some strange movements on my pc....

Just a little illo.........

I saw a pic like this in corbis website last week while I was looking for some image to work on. That one caught imediately my eye, even if it was a little "dark", and so I started working with my Freehand trying to make the result look like that pic...and so...here's my illo!!!

Illustration friday....roots

So, here I am once again.
This is a simple sketch which came out instintively while watching tv yesterday evening... roots started growing everiwhere on my sheet!!
